SEA, SKY, SALT, SOIL - I'm excited to share this with you

SEA, SKY, SALT, SOIL.... Opening soon!
Itβs been a busy and inspiring few months as I prepare for my upcoming exhibition Sea, Sky, Salt, Soil: Art of the Sussex Coastline, and I wanted to share an update with you.
π About the Exhibition
Sea, Sky, Salt, Soil is a celebration of the elemental Sussex coastline β its shifting skies, salt air, chalk cliffs, and rolling tides.
It brings together new bodies of work Iβve been developing with seawater, wildflower seeds, and fragments gathered from our local beaches, alongside works by three brilliant Sussex-based artists:
Julian Warrender β narrative jewellery created from recycled precious metals
Julie Ingham β coastal-inspired illustration and design, including her Coastal Range of prints and product
Kate McMinnies β expressive ceramic forms that capture tide lines, seed pods, and the spirit of clay

πΏ New Participatory Installation
Iβm especially excited to share a new participatory wildflower installation. Visitors will be invited to create small wildflower βpodsβ from seaweed bubbles, soil, and seeds β placing one within the exhibition as a collective offering, and taking one home to plant. This make one, take one process is designed to spread care for our environment, and to connect our Sussex coast with living landscapes beyond the gallery.

π Why This Exhibition Matters
For me, this exhibition is about more than displaying work. Itβs about exploring how we live with β and care for β the changing coastline of Sussex. Itβs about connection: between sea and soil, between people and place, and between art and the natural world.
Iβd love for you to join us in October β to experience the work, take part in the installation, and perhaps stay for one of the talks.
