Edge of Time

£675.00

The coastline is in constant motion—eroding, shifting, transforming. Edge of Time captures the raw energy of the shore, where broken shells and crumbled chalk tell the story of cliffs lost to the tide. The chalk used in this piece was gathered from the fallen cliff between Saltdean and Telscombe, a place I’ve walked many times. Now, the erosion has made it nearly impossible to pass safely, the land continuing its slow collapse into the sea. This painting holds the fragility of these places within its layers—reminders of time, loss, and the force of nature at work.
